Karna Ranjani Raga from RaGa today.

Whatever adjectives,superlatives I put ,still it is not enough to describe the elevated musical experience in today's kutcheri.

வார்த்தைகள் வலிமை இழந்து தோற்று ஒடிப் காணாமல் போகிறது.

Ranjani Gayatri sisters painted the Karaharapriya janyam Karnaranjani raga in a big canvas.

This raga flowed beautifully like the Jog falls.

They travelled in all the octaves effortlessly as usual.The outpouring from their heart is really soul stirring.

As expected they presented a RTP after an eloborate mind blowing alapana & tanam.

The pallavi lines are

"கர்ணரஞ்சித கானாம்ருத பானமே

மோக்ஷமார்க சோபானமு"

வல்லினமும் மெல்லினமும் இழையோடின சஞ்சாரி bhavam was an emotional experience than a laya experience.

ஏனென்றால் இந்த ராகம் ஆளை மயக்கும் ரகத்தை சேர்ந்தது.

This ragam is a rare flower in the garden of ragams.

Generally in RTP one will give an abundant கணக்கு வழக்கு..technically challenging & interesting mathematics..

ஆனால் இந்த RTP யில் அதெல்லாம் பின்னாடி தள்ளப்பட்டது..

only aesthetics..not much of mathematics.

தேன் உண்ட வண்டு போல் ஒரு வித மயக்க நிலைக்கு நம்மை கொண்டு சென்றார்கள் சகோதரிகள்.

Well rounded ஸ்வரக் கோர்வைகள் கொள்ளை அழகு.

கலியுகத்தில் நாதோபாசணையும் நாமசங்கீர்த்தணையும் தான் மோக்ஷத்திற்கு மார்க்கம் என்று தீர்க்கமாக சொன்னது போல் இருந்தது.

RTP முடிவில் வந்த ரேவதியும் ஹம்ஸாநந்தியும் icing on the cake.

To do a grahabedam once itself is like walking on a thin ice.

As you know Grahabedam is like a double edged sword.

But for Gayatri it is like அல்வா சாப்பிடற மாதிரி.

She did grahabeadam Twice ! !

Hamsanandi to Madyamavathi ..that was breathtaking.

Again from Hamsanandi to Hindolam

Double Breadth!

That was treat & feast to ears,eyes,heart & soul.

I was clean bowled by the bowing techique of violinist L Ramakrishnan.

He was spot on in his replies ,sangathi for sangathi,swaram for swaram.

Sai மிருதங்கம் பக்கா வாத்யம்.

ரொம்ப ஒஸ்தியான வாசிப்பில் Sai நம்மை சாய் ச்சிடறார்.

லய வின்யாசம் ஆரம்பிக்கறதுக்கு முன்னாடி பாடின கர்ணரஞ்சனி ஸ்வரபிரஸ்தாரம் இன்னமும் காதில் ரீங்காரம் செய்வதில் வியப்பு எதும் இல்லை.

கர்ணரஞ்சனி ராக ஆலாபணை ஆரம்பித்ததிலிருந்து பல்லவி முடியும்

வரை 'பாலு ஸார்' SPB ஞாபகமாகவே இருந்தது.

அந்த மஹா வித்வானை நிணைத்து உருகினேன்.

மனம் ஊமையாக அழுதது.

கல்லையும் கரைக்கும் இந்த ராகம்.
